WHAT A JOURNEY
John & Brenda grew up in the lands of flat fields and lakes. They moved to central BC in search of mountains and stumbled upon a small city where two rivers meet that is full of friendly, outdoorsy folks.
Rocky Peak opened in May 2007 and provides a hub of gear and knowledge for outdoor recreation in the Cariboo region of central BC and for trips around the world.

Adventuress
For Brenda, it is all about getting the most smiles out of the adventures you take your gear on.
She has solo-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail (4270km); the Great Divide Trail (1130km), Manaslu Circuit and the Jesus Trail; and climbed a 6088m mountain in the Andes. She believes that the secret to world peace is getting outside more.
John Courtney
The Fastest Guy on 2 Wheels

Bike racer and shop co-owner. He thinks that there is no better sensation of freedom than the wind through your helmet.
John is enthusiastic about gear and simplifies the choices for you to make the best decision so that you can have the most fun out there.
